Block countries and cloud networks on any website — your own server, shared hosting or Python. Turn it on from one dashboard and see exactly what it stopped.
In the last 7 days the filter stopped 17,412 requests on our own map sites — 13,243 of them got the challenge page, saving about 255 MB of pointless downloads. Search engines, AI search and link previews were never caught.
Sign up, enter the domain and pick where it runs: VPS, shared hosting or Python.
One install command, one uploaded folder or one middleware line — the dashboard gives you the exact code with your key filled in.
Pick countries and a protection level. Every change reaches your server automatically; the stats update daily.
Start by monitoring, tighten up once you see the numbers.
Blocks nothing, just counts what it would catch. Watch for a week or two, then decide.
A real person from a blocked place passes an automatic 1–2 second check; bulk scrapers don’t.
Requests from blocked countries get a short bilingual explanation page or a 403.
Block, plus cloud data centers and bots disguised as browsers get the challenge page.
In eight languages, in the browser’s language, light and dark. No picture puzzles, no data asked.
Same dashboard, same stats — three ways to connect.
One install command. nginx decides locally, in memory — no outside call per request.
curl -fsSL https://tilezza.eu/geoszuro/telepit.sh \ | sudo bash -s -- tlz_KEY --telep gszt_SITEID
Upload one folder, add one line to .htaccess. PHP 7.4+, no database, works under WordPress.
// geoszuro/geoszuro-beallitas.php 'kulcs' => 'tlz_KEY', 'telep' => 'gszt_SITEID',
A pip package, one line in your framework. Zero dependencies, Python 3.8+.
pip install https://tilezza.eu/geoszuro/python/tilezza_geoszuro-1.2.0-py3-none-any.whl # FastAPI / Starlette app.add_middleware(GeoszuroASGI) # Django MIDDLEWARE.insert(0, 'tilezza_geoszuro.django.GeoszuroMiddleware')
Decisions are made locally, in memory, in microseconds. No network call per request.
If Tilezza is unreachable, the filter keeps the last settings. On any error it lets traffic through rather than block.
Google, Bing, AI search, link previews and uptime monitors always pass — 0 caught in 9,280 test requests.
Only daily counts leave your server (country, decision). Never IP addresses, URLs or browsers.
EU/EEA countries can’t be blocked by country (regulation 2018/302) — the system simply doesn’t allow it.
IP lists update daily with ed25519 signatures and checksums; corrupted data is never loaded.
We are not the best at everything. Here is what Geo Filter is good at — and when to pick something else.
| Tilezza Geo Filter | Cloudflare (free) | Wordfence Premium | DataDome, cside & co. | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | €39 / year / site, one-time payment | Free; more rules from the paid Pro plan | $149 / year / site | Monthly, usually enterprise quotes |
| What do you have to move? | Nothing: it runs on your existing server | Your domain’s DNS has to move to Cloudflare | WordPress plugin only | A script or integration in your stack |
| Country blocking | Yes, with a challenge page too | Yes, squeezed into 5 custom rules | Yes (Premium only) | Yes, part of the package |
| Cloud data centers separately | Yes (Strict level) | Manually, with ASN rules | No | Yes |
| Platform | nginx, any PHP host, Python | Anything behind Cloudflare | WordPress only | Almost anything |
| Privacy | Only daily counts leave your server | Every request passes through Cloudflare (US company) | Runs locally | Visitor data analysed by the vendor |
| Detecting automated browsers | Yes: rotating task + browser signals, press-and-hold when in doubt. Behaviour analysis: in development | In paid plans | Basic | Yes, deeper — their strength |
| DDoS protection, CDN | No | Yes | No | Partly |
When to pick something else? If you are under a large attack or want a CDN too, Cloudflare is the better choice. If your shop fights fraud and a few hundred dollars a month is fine, DataDome-class services look deeper. Geo Filter is for people who don’t want to move their domain, don’t run WordPress, or simply want a predictable yearly price.

Yes, any non-EU/EEA country, and data-center networks (e.g. Alibaba, Tencent, AWS) separately.
No: the built-in list of search engines, AI search and link previews always passes, and so do robots.txt and sitemaps.
No — the country comes from the IP registration. But most bulk scrapers run from data centers, which the Strict level handles.
Yes: geoszuro-agent ki on a VPS, python -m tilezza_geoszuro ki in Python, or the settings page in PHP — until you turn central control back on.
